Switch to AWS marketplace
Existing Hava customers with direct subscriptions who wish to manage their subscription via AWS Marketplace.
Switching your subscription involves coordinating with our support team to manage the transition and then subscribing through the AWS Marketplace. Your account data will remain safe throughout this process.
Important Considerations Before You Start
No Pro-Rating or Refunds: We cannot offer refunds, credits, or pro-rated adjustments for any remaining time on your current direct subscription when you switch to AWS Marketplace.
Timing Your Switch: You have two options:
Switch Immediately: You can start the process right away, but you will forfeit the remaining value of your current subscription period.
Switch at Renewal: You can wait until your current subscription period is about to end before initiating the switch. This ensures you get the full value of your existing subscription.
Data Safety: No account data or configuration will be lost during this transition process.
Temporary Trial Mode: As part of the process, your account will be temporarily placed into a trial mode by our support team after your direct subscription is cancelled and before your AWS subscription is activated. This is a necessary step to facilitate the link with AWS Marketplace.
To switch your subscription to AWS Marketplace, please follow these steps:
Contact Support:
Contact our support team via your account and the chat widget in the bottom right corner.
Mention you wish to switch your subscription to the AWS Marketplace.
Inform the support team whether you want to:
Switch immediately (forfeiting remaining time on your current subscription).
Switch at the end of your current subscription term (specify the end date if possible).
Our support team will confirm the next steps with you.
Support Team Actions (We'll Handle This):
Based on your requested timing, our support team will manually cancel your current direct subscription.
They will then place your account into a temporary trial mode to allow the AWS Marketplace connection.
You will be notified by the support team once these actions are complete and you are ready to proceed with the AWS Marketplace purchase.
Subscribe via AWS Marketplace:
Once notified by support, log in to your AWS Management Console.
Navigate to the AWS Marketplace.
Search for "Hava" or follow this link.
Follow the on-screen prompts within the AWS Marketplace to subscribe to Hava. Ensure you are subscribing for the same account you wish to transition.
Verify Account Linking:
After successfully subscribing through AWS Marketplace, log back into your Hava account.
The system should automatically detect the new AWS Marketplace subscription and link it to your account, removing the trial status.
Troubleshooting
Account Not Linking: If, after subscribing via AWS Marketplace, your Hava account does not automatically reflect the new subscription status (e.g., it still appears as 'trial' or 'expired'), please contact our support team for assistance, in some case we may need to manually link the account.
